Nagoya Castle Honmaru Goden

Nagoya Castle
As of 2020, the castle tower is closed for its re-built plan, but you can enter the Honmaru Goden (palace), the residence of Tokugawa daimyo.
Inside the Honmaru Goten, there are beautiful paintings. Honmaru Goten was reconstructed just as it was before,
including all decorations. This was possible because the detailed records of the building were taken before the Second World War.
You can enjoy sakura flowers (cherry blossoms) in spring, and colorful leaves in autumn. If you visit Nagoya,this castle is must-see spot.

Tokugawa Art Museum
Tokugawa Art Museum exhibits the treasures of Tokugawa Family in Edo Period (1604-1868). There were four Tokugawa families in Japan including the main linage of Shogun family. Other three Tokugawa families are strategically located and there role was to secure the linage of Tokugawa family. When a Shogun did not get any son, then one man was chosen as next Shogun from these three Tokugawa linages.
Tokugawa Art Museum is closed on every Monday.
Tokugawa-en Japanese Garden is located just next to the Tokugawa Art Museum. Tokugawa-en Garden used to be owned by Owari Tokugawa Family.

Atsuta Jingu Shrine

Atsuta Jingu
 Known as Atsuta Sama (Venerable Atsuta) or Miya (the Shrine), has been one of the greatest centers of worship in Japan from ancient times. Visitors to the shrine, including those who practice the conventional New Year visit, now count nine million annually.

 

Osu Kannon Temple

Osu is an old, traditional shopping district. Osu developed in front of a temple, known as Osu Kannon. If you like to buy Japaneseb
traditional kimono or some souveniors, then please visit Osu. There are also shops for second-hand brand goods and electoronics.

Nowadays Osu is very popular among young people in this area due to the shopping streeet renewal. Only to stroll through Osu area is a fun.

The price starts from around 100,000 yen per group. This includes a guide and a 4 passenger-seat car with a driver, and 10% tax. Admissions and meals are not included in the price but available upon request.
Please request the quotation for wagon or mini-bus or bus.

1-3 pax: day use of a taxi
4-8 pax: day use of a jumbo taxi (wagon)
9-18 pax: mini-bus
18-27 pax: middle-sized bus
28 and over: large bus
Private car/bus is not available without guide, unless at least one of passenges speaks Japanese. Drivers in Japan cannot communicate in English.
